Slides under the Stars

07 May 2008
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location
Marcy and Bob Wrenn’s house, 1222 Big Rock Rd, Tucson AZ
Come to the annual joint SACA/ADC "Slides Under the Stars" event and get a chance to see old friends, new ones, enjoy fabulous desserts and listen to an informative and entertaining presentation by Simon Donovan.
Simon is the designer of the award winning Rattlesnake Bridge located over Broadway Boulevard. Other public works include the Shade Structure at the El Pueblo Senior Center and the Purple Heart Memorial Wall at the Purple Heart Park. He is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and currently teaches at the Tucson Artworks Academy at TUSD High School.
SACA members will provide deserts and ADC will provide the beverages. Please bring a portable chair if you have one and a flashlight.
“Simon Donovan is an artist known for his shameless self promotion. Neurotic, impulsive, opinionated, he is notorious amongst intimates for dominating dinner conversation. He has an unquenchable thirst for attention and affirmation. Occasionally he is humorous.”
