Melt bezels, Burnt bottoms, Have to re-do solder seams? The Heat Zone intensive soldering workshop will teach you how to solder better, faster and neater. Beginners through advanced silversmiths start with the anatomy of the flame and apply it to a series of exercises designed to build soldering skills. All aspects of soldering will be covered in depth as well as tips and tricks galore. Day 2 will include tank safety and studio setup.

Helen Blythe-Hart, Inventor of the acclaimed Heat Zone Soldering Method. She has been practicing her metal artistry for over 27 years and teaching students for 15 years. She has won numerous awards in this country and her work has been collected nationally and internationally. Helen specializes in sterling and glass sculptures with a futuristic edge. She loves to combine natural stones, patterned gold and silver to create lushly extravagant jewelry. Her degrees include an MFA in Sculpture and Metals from Georgia State University and she is a Certified Graduate Gemologist (GIA).
