Originating with the Etruscan and Greek cultures this delicate ornamental wire work consists of twisted and curled fine & sterling threads using fanciful arabesques and scrolls to create an open lace-work pattern. Students will learn to create their own twisted threads of silver and form them into fanciful designs and wearable art jewelry. The topic of granulation will be discussed in addition and a short demonstration will be given.
