THE PLASTICITY OF METAL - High relief repousse & chasing. The combined processes of repousse and chasing are perhaps one of the most direct and exciting and methods for creating design. Come explore the plastic qualities of non ferrous metals using simple tools to model and shape metal sheet in to high relief forms. Students may choose to create simple or complex designs. We will strive for unique texture and form through the use of chasing tools and hammers. This process offers the designer limitless possibilities as you push the metal back and forth.
