Connie Fox has been making jewelry since 1996. Here "former life" was spent as a pyschotherapist in private practice. Connie's introduction to jewelry was focused on wire working and later she expanded her horizons by studying metalsmithing. She teaches wire work, cold connections and metalsmithing techniques in her studio in San Diego, California. Connie is a frequent contributor to jewelry related books and magazines. She is a contributing editor to Step by Step Wire Jewelry magazine.

In this two day class we will explore 20 different types of dangles that go into making the ancient style of "fringe" jewelry. These components are applicable to earring designs. We will cover numerous topics including the following elements: embellishing coins, variations on a head pin, corrugated components, bales, triangles, spirals and springs, rivets and frogs, the Hagandaz dangle, the bell dangle, and the double spiral. Make about 20 components for a charm bracelet over the weekend. You may even be able to make the chain on which to hang your components.

Level: Intermediate - Basic Wire Skills
