Yehuda Tassa began to work in Yemenite Filigree at the age of six and worked for 16 years in the family jewelry business. He received a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering. After retiring from an aerospace career, he revitalized his “lost art” by reproducing both old and new ﬁligree designs. Today he creates Jewelry and teaches by incorporating both ancient and modern tools and techniques into his workshops. Yehuda lectures to local jewelry organizations on all aspects of authentic Yemenite ﬁligree. He is working to preserve the history of Yemenite Filigree.
Enjoy two days discovering the basics of filigree fabrication and make a pair of earrings and a pendant.
