Maureen at her benchMaureen Brusa Zappellini will be demonstrating the old world technique of engraving.

She Holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Arts from Tufts University with emphasis on painting, metals and art  history. Maureen also has a 4-year diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine arts in Boston, attended the prestigious Skowhegan School of Painting and  Sculpture in 1989, and studied old world goldsmithing techniques in Florence, Italy 1997 - 2000  as well as attending count-less visiting artists workshops State-side. Maureen describes herself as a "metalsmith/designer/jeweler/teacher, community organizer, founder and administrator of Metalsmiths Unite!, mother, web page designer, and rabble rouser.."
