Even the most simple pendant design can be turned into a stunning piece with depth and dimension when you take advantage of metal's unique texturing and layering properties. Come explore ways to combine the fundamental metalsmithing techniques of piercing, forming and texturing into pendants that are uniquely wearable and personalized. Options for using tabs, rivets, and patina will offer an even wider range of visual variety to the finished pendants.Students may choose to work towards creating a finished pendant or to play and experiment with the various demonstrated techniques in order to expand their design and craft repertoire for future projects.
