"Artisan's Career Etched in Stone" is Janelle Cowgill's description of Pam Chott, Mesa jewelry artist (and lontime ADC member) from a 1998 article written in the Arizona Republic newspaper. Pam's designs are inspired by the color and patterns revealed when she cuts, shapes and polishes her stones and crystals. For this Metalink Pam will share her knowledge about the geographical and geological origins of gemstones (showing many examples); discuss her trade-marked business "Reusuable BEADifferent Findings" and her personal process of bringing metal, stone, and "inspiration" together.

Bio: Pam has exhibited nationally and locally since 1997 in many invitationals as well as juried shows acquiring several awards along the way: 1998 "Featured Artist" at the Mind's Eye gallery; 1999 Jewelry Award - 4Th Annual Silverhawk Fine Crafts Internet Exhibit; and in 2000 Exhibition Award for the AZ Commission on the Arts.
