A hands-on workshop where participants will use a variety of jewellery techniques to explore surface embellishments, fabrication and simple cuttle bone casting as well as number of techniques covered in this workshop. Besides buttons, the end product could be pendants or brooches. Surface embellishments and decorative elements will also be covered including inlay and other techniques which can incorporate other materials with metal in order to personalize your creations.You can visit his website at

Bio: Donald A. Stuart is one of Canada's leading gold/silversmiths. He has earned an international reputation, receiving over thirty awards for his work in gold, silver, platinum, and diamonds. He has participated in well over 100 national and international exhibitions and his work is found in numerous national and international public, corporate, and private collections. Don has given lectures and workshops across North America and beyond. Don has been awarded Canada's highest honor, the Order of Canada, in recognition of his work as a craftsman, educator and volunteer.
