Join us for this innovative two-day workshop exploring various techniques developed using FW Regular and Pearlescent Acrylic Inks on watercolor paper.
These special techniques allow the painted paper to be formed into various types of "wall sculptures" and into "LumenArt", which is a lighted functional artwork that is three-dimensional and freestanding. The inks are lightfast and translucent and create a rich, vibrant and luminous look on the paper.
The techniques that will be demonstrated and executed during the workshop are the "Wave", the "Flat panel" and the LumenArt (which uses the LumenArt Kit).Students will complete these projects during the workshop.
Other techniques will be discussed (with examples) at the end of the workshop showing many versatile applications of FW Acrylic Inks on clay, wood, leather, fabrics and other surfaces.
Material Fee: $30 (includes all art materials used in the workshop)
