Journey into wire jewelry covering the history of wire wrap. Follow a
purist but functional approach starting with exercises with wire: tempering, twisting and binding. Projects include: making a pair of earring jackets and making a border wrap pendant.
BIO: Ann has participated in over 100 juried exhibitions over the past 10 years including Celebration of Fine Art, Scottsdale; Santa Barbara Jazz Festival; Ruidoso Art Festival; Shemer Museum ADC Show; Fountain Hills Jazz Festival & Art Show; Prescott Courthouse Arts & Crafts Show; Chair, Sonoran Festival of Fine Art, Carfree. Education: Accredited Jewelry Professional degree, Gemological Institute of America, 2007; Graduate Pearl Degree, GIA, 2008; Ann studied with Master Wire Artisan Seth Blansett, 1997-2000 and with Preston J. Reuther, 2000-2001.Ann’s work is in over 1000 private collections world wide, including Shirley MacLaine. She is represented by the Courtyard Gallery in New Buffalo, Michigan and the Pinetop Contemporary Fine Art Gallery in Pinetop.
