The Oaxaca chain style has been frequently used in Guatamala and other locations in South America and Mexico as a "wedding chain". Customarily the bride and groom wear it during the wedding ceremony.She will demonstrate several variations of this chain style.

Jeanne Jerousek-McAninch has been making jewelry since she was 22 when she took her first jewelry class in gradiate school from Maryann Scherr at Kent State University.Chain making has been her passion since the seventies when she published Chain Making Link By Link. She has been investigating historical chains since 1976 which is the topic of her current book.
